Average a week 4.25 x 52wk ...so 200 or a bit more is about how much i go out

Shortest session can be just as short as 30-45 minutes..but most are 1 to 2 hours

Nice! Moving close to the wind seems to be the recipe. To that fellow that moved away from the wind.. you got to move back dude!

Whenever I have someone asking me about learning kiteboarding I tell them not to bother unless they 1) live by a great kiting spot or 2) are willing to move. If you can't kite where you live it's an expensive waste of your time... :jump:

Yes kite close to where you live helps (1 minute)
Yes working close to where you live helps (5 minutes)
Yes working hours where you can leave at 3:30pm everyday (5 day work week/part-time 30hrs)
Yes living in a climate where water is liquid all year long...the sunshine state...on the Atlantic side
Yes owning a large kite to minimize getting skunked in 8 knots...and maximize sessions
Yes being married 19 years to a woman who understands me...because she is also a kitesurf freak

A lot of Yes is needed...to do a lot of kitesurfing
So now you know my secret

Oct - Apr 3-5 sessions a week.
May - Sep 1-2 sessions a month.
