Hello everyone. We are happy to announce the launch of a brand new website dedicated to our new control bar system, the UNI. This site gives a comprehensive overview of all the great features about the bar, which we have been working on for over 2 years. We are very happy with the results and we are positive all of you will be impressed with the performance as well The official Blade website will be launched in the upcoming weeks, so be sure to check back in to see what else we got planned. Enjoy http://www.bladekites.com/unibar/Attachment:

Now if I had to put everything into one bar the way I would like it, it would look something like the UNI! Looks awesome!
A question though: Where does the safety line pull on if you pull the safety release? To what does the safety line connect? One of the front lines?
I've got blade vertigo kites (the last ones, sorry they are discontinued), but am not impressed with the old bar. The design and quality was not good enough, but the new bar is definitely designed right. I hope the quality and durability is much better (It looks better).
One thing that I really dislike in a bar system is if the safety line goes slack and hangs loose when you pull the depower. Even bungees wear out and become slack. Has the UNI been able to overcome this slack safety line problem? That would be awesome.
I modified my systems to be quite like the Zeeko bar, but with super long extended travel and no safety, so my safety is pushing the bar and stopper out so far that the kite comes down like a cabrinha IDS (yes it works on the vertigo, but not on all kites). Is it possible to adjust the bar throw length while riding, or must the lines be slack to adjust it on the UNI?

looks good, let´s see if there is enough torque for that swivel to work & at least someone is using numbers and specific references in the middle of all blá-bláblá the leaflet of the lines here http://www.marina.hu/index2.php?option= ... &Itemid=35

i have one of the prototypes of the UNI bar and it is very comfortable and works VERY well.
There is a reason this system too so long to come out, they really out did themselves on it. Overall one of if not the best bar and line combo's on the market!
to answer ChristoffM the metal ring on the CL is where you attach your leash. this is connected via a dimena line and travels through the swivel to one of the front lines. when you release in safe mode the kite is only attached to that flying line and it drops it out of the sky. much better than the older Blade system.
The small bend in the bar noticeably reduces arm fatigue. The chicken loop is bad ass with rubber overmold making it tacky to grip for easy release even under load. the loop may look small but it locks into the bar so well its a breeze to hook back in.
check out the mini site and you will see the engineering inside this bar, its a work of art that performs great!

no stopper ball would be my only complaint about this bar system, but its so easy to move the cleat to where you want it so you can set it for spinning the bar after a kite loop which is the only time i use a stopper. i may make my own if i feel the need

The bar looks very nice! I have few questions, I would be glad that someone from blade will answer. The bar is going to be black or white as showed in the previous pictures? At the picture i see that the suicide setup is similar to north' bar: In the slide show the the double ring has been removed. How the suicide setup will work in this bar?
