Questions about the Mayan Riviera

Postby JEOPARDY » Mon Dec 03, 2012 10:51 pm

I'm new to kitesurfing but from December 30th until the 5th of January I'll be at the Valentin Maya Resort on Playa del Secreto (just north of Playa del Carmen on the Mayan Riviera) and was wondering if folks knew anything about the conditions or had any other suggestions/contacts for me.
I'll likely bring my own board and kites (9 and 13 meter). Thanks in advance for any tips.

You can kite on Isla Blanca, Cozumel, and Tulum. All good spots.

JEOPARDY,

Just saw your post. I'll be there the same week, also for the first time. Staying at the resort right next door and was hoping to be able to ride right out front. Will also be bringing gear. See you on the water.
