My husband and I honeymooned for 2 weeks last Dec/Jan and the wind was 50/50. We got 6 solid days of wind, 2 iffy day and then the rest of the time there was a storm out at sea which made the wind very weird (early morning 5-7am the wind was great and all the locals were out on the water but then it would die for the rest of the day). We stayed at Extreme Hotel which was a great location right on the beach which made it nice to wait out the weather for the wind. Hope you have a great trip!!!

January is typically a better month than December. The number of days that you ride depends on the size of your kite. So, if you bring a light wind kite, you will pick up a few more days. I would take a 17, 13, and 10 if I were headed there in January. You might luck out and ride the 10 every day.

november and december sucked big time.
Now it looks like we may be getting some wind though its still a little sketchy.
The last 2 years january has been pretty good. Last year i rode both my 8m and my 10m (im 74kg)
and am hoping that this year will be the same

Tree years ago, I we had 3 weeks in CAB in january with no wind at all. But you can be lucky.
Punta Carna is more wind safe ( but for big kites 12 -14 )
