I'm shooting for Thursday as originally planned. I'm hoping for 2-4 knots. MAX!

My god, what are we talking about here! Hoping for less than 5 knots!
Maybe this lightwind discussion has gone too far!
It's gone way too far! Kiters wishing for really light winds? Really?Childish!
It scares me what some of would be doing if you didn't have an email to hide behind and a keyboard to punch.
Get a f***@n life!
I have a wager already that the biggest offenders won't show.

davesails7,
The reason I want at least less then 5 knots to start with is because I want to show some of these guys what they saw on the
INFINITY v3 video in (2 to 4 knots) was true. I have nothing to hide and stand behind what I say. But again who wants to kite in less then 5 knots on an SUP!!! I have done it few times and it's a little boring but a good work out. So let's hope for some very light wind in the beginning and strong winds later. So we can all have a great time.
14ToeSide,
I hope to see you on Tuesday Dec 11th in
CoCo beach so you can demo the EPIC kite and see from yourself what the
INFINITY V2 or
V3 light wind machine is all about. I am trying to find the best place in Coco Beach so every body can show up for this demo. Will keep you posted on FACEBOOK, TWITER, EPICKITES web page, or check the EVENTS & DEMOS page under this "kiteforum" or even under the "EPICKITES 3GII" topic.

I know that 14Toe cannot leave his business in Orlando on Tuesday...
Thursday IS the only day he could
Wednesday is for myself ....at work....pretty difficult to take off...lots of patients and orders
I will try my best...maybe there will be a way
For Tuesday it looks better to kite right after lunch for me with our type of workload
We both take care of business first...if you know what i mean..aren't we all professionals
For spots to go : in Cocoa Beach ...520 (causeway) "slick" as we call it..
.....the spot for river rats on TT
Other spot popular on ocean side is next town North of CB....Cape Canaveral
It's called Cherie Down Park in the waves..NNE-NE-E-ESE-SE-SSE-S-SSW winds are good
P.S. Thursday would have been perfect for me too just like 14Toe

Hello "
SupaEZ",
Thank you so much for all the info about where to do the EPIC demo on December 11th in CoCo beach.
Will keep you posted for which beach we'll be at on Dec 11th. Then will have to go and do other demos in Jupiter, Delray, Pompano, and Miami but will plan things out so I can be back in CoCo beach on Thursday the 13th so you and "
14ToeSide" can test the
INFINITY v2 and
v3 to see its performance in light winds.
P.S. I won't leave FLORIDA until you try the INFINITY v2 & v3.

Yeah that's great...but the forecast for Thursday is WIND from NE 14kn to17kn
The cold front is still predicted to push through on that day
Fine with me to test the "upper" wind range on your V2-V3...compared to my XR219
Tuesday should still be around 10kn SSW....of course best for the GIANT kites...
I just do not think we will have a 5kn.....but then again wind is wind...it may just happen

Here is the Goggle map of the "520 slick" in the Banana River in Cocoa Beach
It is located on the South side of causeway just a little bit West of the hospital (Health First Physicians)

It is easy enough to test "2-4 knots". Just take the kite inside to a big indoor stadium like a school gym or a basketball court, where there is zero knots. Then do a "hot" downwind launch and walk backwards. Normal walking speed is about 3.1mph which equals about 2.7 knots. If you can keep the kite up in the air by WALKING backwards, it proves Dimitri is right. If you can't, you prove PMU and all the doubters.

You can zoom out and see where it is in relation to the 520 slick and Cherie Down
