Gopro Hero 2 problem

Postby Hawaiis » Tue Dec 18, 2012 8:00 am

My gopro hero 2 started to shut itself off every2-3 seconds after I press the record button, emailed Gopro and never get ant reply. Anyone with similar problem? May be this is marketing g technique learned from Microsoft, so everyone has to upgrade.

It sounds like full SD card (or empty battery :D )

did you test the battery? if so, connect the cam to the computer and install the firmware upgrade again,

what exactly do you mean every 2-3 seconds?
I assume you mean it shuts off everytime you try to turn it on after about 2-3 seconds correct?
my first though is a battery issue so make sure it is fully charged.
there isn't much you can do if you cannot even get the camera to turn on.
you can't do a firmware update unless you can power on the camera.
I would suggest either send gopro an email and see if you get a response or just return it to the retailer you purchased it from.

Have a look around here - goprouser.freeforums.org/

GoPro have been pretty bloody good about returns and replacing parts. If they haven't replied, you might have gotten stuck in the spam filter :(
