Abu Dhabi - anybody kitesurfing on Saadiyat?

Postby Jono 111 » Thu Dec 20, 2012 2:24 pm

Hi - due to go to the Park Hyatt on Saadiyat Island for a week and a half tomorrow.....

Can anybody tell me whether its worth taking my gear (14,10,7) with me? Or should I just enjoy sandcastles with the kids and keep it simple!

Thanks so much for any advice.

Cheers
Jono :)

Hi Jono,

kiters in Abu Dhabi go to Yas Island, which is a very nice sandy spot. Unfortunately there's never much wind down here, so make sure you bring the big one with you.

Good luck!

Hey - thanks for that, I'll pack light and just bring the big kite. If that....

How's the water temp right now?

Thanks for your help - appreciate it.
