Cape Air - USVI's

Postby adamj2281 » Thu Dec 20, 2012 7:43 pm

I generally take AA to the USVI's. Has anyone taken the small commuter planes between STX and SJU or STT and STX (that's San Juan to St. Croix, and St. Thomas to St. Croix)?

I called and asked if they could accomadate golf bags, and they said yes, under 50 lbs. The weight limit is no issue for me, but the size of the bag itself may be.

It doesn't help that my golf bag is large - 155 cm. I may trade for a smaller one.

I flew Cape Air about this time last year from San Juan to the BVI with my Cabrinha Golf Bag. It was the largest one they make. I believe it was 150CM and there was NO issue with the bag. Its all determined by weight of the people and baggage if your bag makes it on the same flight as you are on.

Great thanks, I'm going to go with a NSI Deceiver bag, any baggage fees?

They did not charge me either direction.
