Have only tried the 5'9. I loved the 2012 - the 2013 is sooo much better. The board is faster and easier to control. But keeps all the things I loves from 2012.

yup..took a bit to get used to the new deck. I really like the thinned out nose. Took care of the only gripe I had about last years 5'9. Been out on it 6 meter ride and that board in shoulder high waves...
I have not ridden the new 5'4'' yet. I am still trying to kill my old one...no luck so far. These boards...so friggin strong.

well if the last years 5'4'' and the fact that they improved the 5'9'' is anything to judge by. I am quite sure I'll manage to trick myself into buying a 5'4 too.
I love to ride it twin fin, and really crank the tail out off the top. I think next year I'll learn how to ride switch in the waves.
