Hi,
I'm looking for a fun ~10m kite that fits between my 2010 8m RPM and 2011 12m OR Rise. I'm 82kg (180lbs).
Main criteria:
- Should loop nicely (similar to RPM or better)
- For tricks that need to be finished off with a loop (darkslide or handplant kiteloop backroll), the kite should generate good power in this kind of late loop to finish the trick (my 12m Rise fails at this)
- Should perform decent in waves (strapless wave usage about 25%, rest is twin tip in choppy to flat water conditions)
- Unhooked: Decent unhooked performance for simple tricks is a plus, I don't care about things like line slack (don't attempt handle passes)
- I prefer it if the kite has power on demand when parked versus having to fly it actively to generate power
- Prefer direct steering without too much delay
Any recommendations?

Except for the park for power criteria, airush varial x could be a great fit for you!
Try to demo one!

C4 fits most of that bill. bit you need to work it in lighter winds.

P-P-Park. Can do all of that. For more power on demand I'd say Ride, but the looping on kites that have power on demand will always be a tradeoff...it still finishes off with some power.
The dark slide and hover rotations with more powered loops for sure Park.
