Yes, D, I love my Screamers! My recent acquisition of the 3G 14m turned out to be just the ticket for what I can't make my 2011 12m do. It really slams upwind, and doesn't kill me with bar pressure. Very responsive, and of course, it boosts great! :thumb:

Really, yesterday was all about measuring it against my 16m Cab SB. The SB is really strong, and you can really feel it in the bar pressure. The 14 Screamer is much more agile for sure, and nearly as grunty, but really just nails it going upwind. I think that upwind advantage really is helping me progress with my toeside riding. I always feel like I'm getting dragged downwind with the Cab.

I dont mean to say that the Screamer is completely replacing my Cab. I think the SB is a bit more stable in terms of downwind drift, more forgiving if you underfly the kite, and can really eat a gust. I'll have to try the Screamer out in the waves to see how it compares in that area.

The Screamer is faster by half, predictable, boosts to the moon, and really rips upwind with ease.

Gear: SCREAMER 7/9/12/14 for Free Style. Not to forget the SCREAMER 10 LTD for my one go kite.
SURF 8 & 12 for the waves. RENEGADE 6.5 and 9 for all around kiting. And some times I use my son's JUNIOR PRO 4 when it blows 45+ for the waves.
Just try the EPICKITES and you will see for yourself.

This is the reason why we have the RENEGADE model. The RENEGADE are more stable and way better for the waves then the SCREAMERS. The RENEGADE is the all around kite for all type of riding and likes to stay further back in the window then the SCREAMER.

I know that D, but you know my riding style in the waves has almost nothing to do with the surf riding others do. I have little patience for carving around and going with the waves. I'm all about going against the waves and using them to jump so high I can see the curvature of the Earth. And that means the Screamer is the kite for me!

Strap or Strapless it's all about having fun and expressing yourself.

This is the INFINITY V2 in (9 to 13 knots) with REEF 5'7" ATV v2 surf board.
