Could that rider possibly beat the best of the best that rides on LEI ?
Will there be any entries riding on Foil in the next Red Bull King of Air this February ?

Then he should clearly enter the Red Bull King of Air to see how he does side by side with LEIs

yes it will be interesting. I'm keen to see how this new speed 4 flys. lets face it speed 3 is at least 4 years old now. comparing a 2009 technology with 2013 is pretty unfair.
My gut tells me the lei's will go higher and the foils will glide longer. that seems to be the case from my personal experience. But i admit i have never sent a small 8m foil in nuking wind on the water.
I've jumped 8m open cell foils on the land. but when i'm on the land i'm not going for ultimate height. its allways a more controlled jump. But i love foils on land because of the glidey the provide. foils definately give a softer landing in a wider range of conditions compared to an lei.
Gunnar whats the top end of the 8m speed 4? 35 knots?

I didn't read Gunnar's post as stating Dylan would be there.

I think you are correct........in that case it is a shame...not to enter that event......
...since he appears to be the very best Foil High Wind Looper...on water
