well, that video is a rather bad ad for flysurfer seeing that even the newest kite out there loops really slow compared to any other tube out there. I thought that was not the case any more.
Still wait for a time to try the kite. G

you can compare that 8m Speed4 to a 10m Lei, agreed, still not as fast as a 10 C, but as fast as a bow I think.
Very good hangtime it would seem.

I have never seen a mega loop performed on a foil. People have forgotten what a mega loop really is. Watch this video filmed 08 from 2:30 to the end. I have never seen the height and distance traveled downwind matched.

Have you ever looped a foil? if you want to loop like a man. then loop a foil and experience POWER. Silly little C kite loops are gutless and pussy by comparison.

The foils I owned were Mosquito 5.5 & 9 / Speedair 12 / Psycho1 12 / Psycho2 19. Only the Psycho 12 could be looped and I did that only 2-3 times and gave up and waited for something different to loop. I agree to that - the radius was Huge and with that the pull.
The difference is that I still would like to try the Speed4s as I am not big into looping anyway and like hangtime a lot. Looping is just not a solid point of the kite as I see it. Hangtime for sure - hell yeah ...

Um no they do not. Turn speed and radius are all so different. C's for example turn in a radius and generate power in the turn. Delta's pivot turn or on a radius just depends on the kite. Who still makes a bow besides Cabrinha? Bows turn really slow and I don't like them.
Sorry but foils just don't do it for me.

If you are saying that those loops are the only bona fide loops ever done then you are right, I have never seen a mega loop on a foil.
But. Hadlow says anything about 10m is a megaloop -
