Hey guys just wondering if Los Cobos, mexico has good kiteboarding? I am a beginner and want to take some lessons. I have all my equipment, but would just rent down there, but need to know best time of year to go and where etc. anyone help? I was thinking of Caberete but flights are expensive and I have always wanted to visit Los Cobos so I thought it may be a better choice.

OK - spell check, did you mean: Los C
abos, MX vs C
abarete, DR?
Don't know Cabarete, but have been to Cabo many times. Since you are a beginner lessons are a good choice. Winds (Pacific) and tides (Sea of Cortez) are tricky.
These guys have a pretty good reputation for lessons and gear:

I spent last winter in San Jose Del Cabo.
I was driving up to Los Barriles every time I went kiting
Just so you know, there is no kiting in Cabo san Lucas really.
You have to get up north to Los Barriles which is about 1h 20 min driving from Cabo san Lucas and about 1h from San Jose del Cabo.
It's a great spot.
Exotikite are great, my buddy took lessons with them and they are a really cool bunch of guys!
It's usually pretty windy when El Norte is blowing, about 20-25 kts which is sweet.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
