I just got my hands on one of these new control bars.
This is no flyweight bar...its very solid and super stiff.
The angle and shaping is more subtle than I imagined, and flows wonderfully.
This is a very sharp looking piece of gear...gets me excited just looking at it!
The new sheeting is very streamlined and light compared to the old sheeter strap system,
and that new sheeter cleat is so clever.
I can't wait to get this on the water.

Looks good but the swivel looks like the Wainman, which doesn't work at all. After a couple of sessions it sticks and has to be rotated by hand. Is this one better?

They don't look alike at all to me. Much different geometry. That sucks if the Wainman swivel is prone to locking up. Bummer. The one desgned for the Unibar has been proven, tested and it works.

Short of the lines, the ceramic bearing that is found on the Blade bar is the next most expensive piece of technology on the bar/lineset. I have used the LF ceramic bearing for months without issue. So long as you start untwisted, they seem to keep untwisted. Start up twisted..... and it will stay twisted.

I've used the new Unibar twice now with my 2012 12m Trigger for about 3 hours of flying.
The lasting impression...super smooth and precise, effortless to grip and adjust with just the finger tips.
The Unibar and its ergonomics are just plain easy to adapt to and quickly become an extension of your intuitive motions.
The bar length turned the 12m fast and the sensitivity and feel is outstanding, I can focus on riding.
The new kook proof connectors are 1st class as well and the lines are a pleasure to work with...quick set up and take down.
I twisted the front lines up a bunch and they always seemed to untwist as I rode and transitioned.
This bar is the real McCoy IMO.

What's the factory lines length?

I also saw the bar on the beach last week and checked it out in detail, looks really well though and executed. My friend was testing the Blade Trigger and had a grin from ear to ear.

I personally like riding with a stopper and I suppose it could be next years Mod... A naish stopper looks like it should screw straight on for a quick fix.

I really like the chicken loop with no fidley bits to position or loop over etc

Does the bar length adjustment line go through the bar to the bottom... Or from side to side ? If so - what is the rated strength for the plastic ends ??
