This is a short video I put together yesterday from Bondurant, Wy. It's one of our first sessions on the 2013 Edge. It was fun chasing Wayne around on my sled. I showed him doing a low glide which very few kites can make. The efficiency of the Edge makes it possible, and its advantages as a race kite make it an epic choice for snow. You can upwind brilliantly, charge wind shadows, and boost lofty airs over obstacles.
Those low flights are just awesome. I have always been impressed by your other videos with the crazy high flights but I have never been interested in trying that myself. Those low flights look like something I would like to learn. Maybe it's time to road trip and hit you guys up for some low altitude lessons. Keep up the good work and bring those skill to the Montana snow kite rodeo this year.

Thanks guys, I like to think we never go "crazy" high, but I suppose that's up for discussion. The skimming glides are cool. We do flip the bar right at take of for those straight skimmers. Paraglider style controls basically. Pascal is unique in that he doesn't spin the bar, but has learned to fly forward with one half twist in the lines.
No offense intended by calling it "crazy high". You all make it look easy and controlled. I know if I found myself looking down on the trees I would probably come unglued. I was watching Cale and Bob doing some low glides this weekend on grassy mountain and they are both looking confident and definitely having a great time. I was Giving it a try down lower later in the day off a smaller hill with my 21 Flysurfer. I'm starting to get a feel for a bit of a glide verses just a jump but I still have a long way to go.
