It sure would be amazing to see him compete again in the highest level.
Was he the first to beet Hadlow?

just had a chat to Andy the other day and he told me he is riding better than ever
Cant wait to see him back in action at our local. Rumours are also that he joined Ozone and left SS completely.

Andy won in 2010, when Hadlow was out of tour. Kevin Langeree was the first to beat Hadlow in 2009.

That's great news for Andy Yates. I always thought it was really weird that he was PKRA champ 2010 and slingshot did nothing to promote or market him. If you went on their website you wouldn't even know about it. Whether you like PKRA or not, its the type of publicity that any kite company would be all over generally.

but he has no power or style, so he wont do well on the pkra anymore.

SS doesnt do much to promote any of their riders.
That might be one of the reasons they all leaving now, simply poor team management.
you can see how much Youri gets promoted now with Best- not that he needs it

nice to see him riding again, i doubt he will be able to get to the same level as some of the guys due to that shoulder injury
