logistics... to expensive, to difficult, would break down quick etc.
Pee before you go out.
Humm.. ok, more moments in manufacturing, but looking at the amount of seams already in a normal wetsuit, i don't think it would make a big difference. They make pockets and all kinds of stuff.

I thinka a velcro solution would be the best, not hard on anything, does not break etc..

piss zippers belong on dry-suits!
you take a break on a shallow area or sand bar
stand, depower the kite and let it sit on the surface on
the far left or right and do whatever u want.,.,.,.

whip out a camera or yer johnson or eat a powerbar, whatever.

iffu gotta have a piss velco zipper?,
look 4 a local wetsuit seamstress and pay them to do a custom job i guess

Yea there is a reason they dont put zippers on major stress points that are essential to have stretchy, eg. crotch, armpits, etc. Think harder.

The market for a overengineered, velcro or zippered crotch wetsuit would only be the handful of people who live on a diet of asparagus and habitually forget to go before they suit up.

You guys that say pee first must be either really young or do fairly short sessions. Once I get in the water, I don't like to come out until I am done. That can be over 3 hours. Sometimes 4 hours if you count set up and take down time before I can get out of the wetsuit. If you can consistently hold it for 4 hours, good for you. I could when I was a teenager. But not anymore.

Vin Stefanelli obviously doesn't even wear a wetsuit, because there is no way you are going to drop your kite and take a whiz like he suggests. How the heck would you get the wetsuit down while your harness is on?

I just let go cruising, in the middle of a jump, whatever. Plus, if you do it a couple seconds before a fast backroll or raley or something, you just might be able to set up a gruesome gift for your buddy who is cruising by.

You're bound to flush it out in a series of crashes, or elephant-leg or whatever, and besides, it's sterile. No need to be squeamish, guys. As long as you don't eat a shit-ton of asparagus for breakfast, and end the session dry, you would never know it happened.

A zipper is just another access point for water to come in the wetsuit.
The cap idea looks ridiculous but efficient.

Short, long and everything in between here... don't have much say... it really depends on the conditions.

The newer steamers are not that hard to peel off to take a wiz.... if I get uncomfy, I stop everything and do it. It doesn't take long and it's not a problem... except to find privacy sometimes.

I wouldn't consider wizing in my steamer (in normal circumstances) and risk ruining the nice comfy liner. The newer steamers don't flush out that easy.

I'd never buy a suit with a wiz contraption of any kind... that area already wears quick enough... for me it's the first part that goes in a suit... and when it goes you know it.

Let it flow, any old time. Well, it might be kinda awkward if you are standing around in a dry suit with your buddies complaining about the wind, but almost any other time is fine. You are supposed to be rinsing them out after each session anyways. Wear some boardshorts, and peel the suit off in the showers at the end of your session. Whatever doesn't wash out in the session will wash out in the rinse.

It has been said before in other threads:

Urine is sterile when it leaves the body. Then it becomes a perfect bacteria plantation.

Urine against the skin is not good, causes rashes.

Urine attracts sharks better than blood.

Anyone working with kitesurfing (me for example) dont want to stand around all day in a wetsuit full of pee, and we are not always in the water to rinse it out. Might be a bit strange to suddenly walk out into waist deep water in front of students and suddenly get a very relieved look on your face...

Ok, zipper might be a feature only for a small group, but that small group really wants it. And what if you had one? wouldn't you use it?
