I'm going to mui ne, vietnam in mid april.

Is it easy to rent gear in this place?
Will I need Kitecert to rent equipement?
What's the price for a day of rental kite + board?

It is super easy to rent the gear and everything is super cheap.
I don't know the prices for renting, but you can google for some kite schools and shops.
I thing the best season for hope you will have some wind also in mid April.
I am here now and we are kiting every single day. The wind starts around 11am and growing until 3pm. Than easy going down until 6pm (sunset).
The conditions are not very easy. On the main spot - Miu Ne Beach is chopy with shore break, but nice to practice some wave riding also.

Rental is not very cheap, but easy to do. There are lots and lots of kite shops.

Not sure how good the wind will be in April. That is already towards the end of the season.

I've been twice in November and December and the wind was good. Not amazing.

That sounds good. Found some kite rental prices on the net and it looks to be afordable.

Did you bring your own equipement?

If I bring equipment with me, I'll have a 145cm 'golf bag' to transport.
Is it feasable to get it from saigon to mui ne without too much pain?
Do you know about extra airfees to vietnam?

The rental price is 80 - 120 $ a day. You can rent it much cheaper from me but I dont know if I will be here so late at the season.

Finally brough my own equipment over there, don't regret it the surf / wind is really good!!
Bring small kite as the wind gets very strong in the afternoon!!

Hey Kitetraveller123, how was your trip? I'm really interested in Vietnam. To visit there one day and get to kite too would be icing on the cake for me. If you have time, write us a trip report. I have looked at most of the Vietnam posts, but some of us really appreciate more detail and what you did besides kiting too.
