So lighter bar pressure than the original method and a little more stable at the edge of the window is what I'm reading? I remember those being 2 traits that were brought up here when the original kite came out. Sizing still the same as the first version?

@ sledrat: Yes - lighter and adjustable. 11 & 13 replace the 12sqm. Cheers! :thumb:

Looks nice. How long has this new model been available? Is there any non Switch affiliated feedback? If it is as good as it looks, this would really suit my budget right now...

Yeasterday 25 till 31 knts
6°c 80 kg, directional waveboard 6"1, choppy.

Have flown the new method v2 7m and 5m.
Observations compaired to the old version:

Very stable, gust absorber and very stable, no uncontrolled shooting forwards, great change!

Barpressure: just a little bit less, than the v1

No overhead flying, very good drifting.
As before, very good and easy relaunch !

Maybe due to the first time this year, But they felt a bit more powerfull, but again, could be due to first kite session this season!

Last but most important....I just love them !!

Once again good job Switch wizzards!

@ br0m: Haven't tested the V2 yet, but if the V2 is anything like the V1, relaunching is ridiculous freakishly fast how this kite relaunches, is like the kite has cat DNA, hates the water. It really is crazy how fast the V1 relaunches.

I wouldn't hesitate geting one if relaunching is a concern. I'd be more concerned about bar pressure, and for what I hear is waaaay better than V1s.

Before you ask how come I don't have a quiver of the new ones if they're so killer.

Well, simple I can't seem to get rid of my V1s, I need the cash to buy the new ones.

Method is a killer kite.

Pixelpedro,

The V2 has longer wingtips, meaning they pulled the wingtips a bit further backwards, it lookes like the kite ha a more open flatter shape, but it may be just due to the eye.
I can imagine that due to this the kite turns a bit faster with less power needed for the bar steering impuls.
The bridle lines connectionpoints have got a different position, like this no overflying anymore ( which was for beginners a negative point, the more intermediate kiters had no problem with this, but this point has been cleared!)
It flies very stable, smooth, no sudden flying forwards deep towards the edge of the windwindow in the strong gusts anymore, it is all much smoother.

Several detail and reinforcement improvements Have been done, like on the struts, extra reinforcementpads near the LE, a much better rubber washer on the valve, more Protection stickers near the strutconnetors where the air comes through and so on.
You can see and feel they just did not sit On their bums, but really worked hard to improve the kite in all directions, and listened to their teamriders and acted as such.

I have sold my V1'nes after 2 seasons, and they were still in very good shape, I live at the beach for 6 months a year and can use them daily, so on the fact of quality there Is no doubt that this is top notch!
Also saleability Is no big deal, a lot of people know Switchkites already and if they see the quality offered and the secondhand prices, they are not reluctant at all.

The guys at Switch did a nice job on the methods and Nitro's with Their version 2's now we Have to wait for the V2 combat, which I am shure will have got a huge improvement too and all this for very competitive prices, this is the way to go, why pay double if the quality, service And flying is The same!

Dude :cool2:
