Hey there!
I am flying to bangkok the 11. of february and i really want to learn to kitesurf.
I was thinking about Thailand, but i have done a lot of research, and supposedly the wind is not that good there (i weigh around 90 kgs)
So what are my best options for learning to kitesurf in that region?
Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines or maybe Thailand is good enough?
Preferably a nice warm and not too touristic, party atmosphere
I will be in SE Asia until may.
Kind regards Jacob

Vietnam looks like a great place but if you are in Thialand try Hoi HIN .

Hej Jacob As fellow danes, let's meet up when you get to Mui Ne. I am here to learn as well, arrived Friday evening. Havent started course yet, as my stay in Saigon left me with both nursing a cold and stomach problems. Write me at kristofferbund@gmail.com to contact. Ses! Mvh Kristoffer

Jacob, Mui Ne offers great gusty winds and choppy deep water which is not ideal to learn in. Boracay, Philippines. Voted Travel magazines no1 island http://www.ocean-republic.com/read/4/boracay-voted-best-island-in-the-worldAs well it has steady trade winds, shallow sandy lagoon and everything is walkng distance. Maybe why it makes top 5 kite spots every poll every year. DRC
