Switch Kites News:
MJ Comp

/ / CONCEPT
Marc Jacobs one of the top PKRA freestyle riders joined the Switch development team to design a board for freestyle competition riding. On the PKRA world tour, competitors have to perform as many high performance tricks in the competition area in all types of conditions from waves, chop, flat water mixed with light to strong winds.
To dominate in these diverse conditions Marc needed a board that had explosive pop for high performance tricks, fast upwind ability to stay high in the competition area to perform more tricks, a smooth controlled ride in any water conditions and finely tuned flex for extra control in hard landings.
The MJ COMP is developed to perform in anything the PKRA could dish out and also strong enough to handle Marc’s extremely powerful riding style.
Is this board for you?

Yes, you can go to the local switch warehouse and pads/straps sets are available under the boards menu if that's what you mean. Currently the pads or straps can't be purchased as parts.

$110 bucks!!!
seriously disappointed in Switch....This is SHOP RETAIL PRICE for pads and straps....guess they gotta pay for kiteforum adds somehow.
(in fairness they probably went low volume production due to making only 1 board)
Still pricing around 60-80 would bring gangbusters worth of business from custom board builders if the straps are decent......build it, they will come.
I'll give em credit on the fins though $40 is finally a fair market price.
Will likely order a set with a 9m combat.....

9m combat is golden, if i owned just one kite it would be this, has a huge wind range for a c, and generates probably the most pull from turning kite (to load up/get on plane..etc) of any kite i have ridden in this size.

I just checked some sites and you're right, the new batch of straps are going for 150-200+. Crazy!
