it's a totally different shape. look at the wing tips, bridles, etc.

I'm affraid Wainman did take a Norths trainer kite Buster and called it all-in-one kite...

No.... Wainman had a 3 strut design long before North and there's no comparison in the way they fly. The Neo is softer (on purpose) and doesn't have top end or solid feel like the Wainman, they are different animals. North has been stubborn about not developing a competitive 3 strut design... which is fine... you can't argue with the success of the Rebel.
