F-One Pads

Postby TheOtherGuy » Tue Feb 12, 2013 10:55 am

I really Like my F-One Trax board from 2012, but the pads and straps are not the best for me.
The velcro is also already starting to get worn out.
Which other brands pads and straps fits this board?

Ive tried Nobile and LF luxura and they seems nice.

Any suggestions, preferrly with heelstraps.

Thanks.

I have a 2012 Trax and really like the pads and straps. You need to adjust them correctly though, from both sides of the strap, if not then they do feel a bit uncomfortable.

I suggest you try the new 2013 Xenon pads and straps.

I've got Slingshot Joints on my Trax 12, and love them!

Litewave FLS (foot lock system). Patented because it's really good. 4 points of contact keep the strap from rocking back-n-forth thus giving you more pressure on your toe-side.

Super comfy and easy to install/remove.

Mounting the foot strap to the pad is not new.
NSI and I have been doing it for over 5 years.
Sorry to bust your bubble, Dave.
Read the full text. Prior art is a bitch, ain't she?

Yep, that's 4 inserts you see in the pad there.

Unclesammy is spot on. It takes a minute to adjust the Fone strap correctly and then it is very comfortable.

Hi, and thanks for good answers!

I have been riding theese pads more than 100 days, and lately in 50% of my jumps, the velcro releases and the straps gets all loose on one side.
I have a large foot, size 45/46 and with wetshoes on its hard to adjust them properly, due to not enough velcro.
I stopped using wetshoe for a while but its still not okey.
My feets are to big, AND wide :-) For smaller feets I am sure they do just fine.
They feel really comfty when I tighten them up properly without westshoe, but as I have written, the velcro releases.

Also had problems with F-one straps. Love the board but straps just didn't work for me. All the straps with plastic locks makes pressure on my foots so i understood that i need straps with some other system. After some search chose Aboards Anatomic and very satisfied with them. No pressure on my foots anymore and soft straps and pads as well.

Hi!

So my solution :-)
For 2013 F-One has released Pads and Straps in size Large.

How nice :-)

A pair of them is on order and will hopefully be just perfect for me.
In addition I will try and get som longer screws to fit the bindings with and mount a heelstrap from my old LF Luxury pads.
It is just normal BSP threads on the screws for the F-One boards right?

Xenon pads and straps are sweet and they also come in two sizes.
