Hello everyone,
I've had people asking about a line mount for the New GoPro 3. We received the new one for the GoPro 2, but did not fit the new GoPro. So I grabbed a a dremel and made a little modification.
Looks like it will work great, will test it out this weekend. Better than waiting for them to modify the line mount again. We have plenty over here at the shop, you can call and I can explain what I did if you need, but from the picture its pretty simple to see what needed to be done.

yes this works fine. I actually modified one when I first received the HD3
the issue you might have, other than where you just weakened the section of the mount that had material removed, is the narrow end line manager arms will be visible in some of the modes.
camrig will be releasing the new HD3 mount which is specific to the new HD3 camera and will not work with any other gopro camera.
it has resolved this by moving the camera forward so the arms no longer are visible in the frame.
but yeah your modification does work.
