In the main season - from April until October - we have around 20-25 knots windspeed nearly every day. At the big Kalpitiya lagoon you´ll find flat water and at the sea you can do better moves with the waves. After your kite sessions the team of DE SILVA´s Kite Resort Kalpitiya serves best Sri Lanka food and you can relax in a hammock!

Kalpitiya is one of the secret spots for kiteboarding and windsurfing!
