Humidity = except for Lake evaporation, there usually isn't anything
over 5-8%.

You can Really see which guys set-up two kites to cover the 13 to 30mph wind
range we sometimes, (most-always) get ; their kites are destroyed in
one or two seasons from setting in the Hot sun on a beach instead of
in the back of a van, like mine are when Not being used.

On Salt --- What's That stuff ? We don't have any where i kite ; and i heard
if you eat too much --- it can be Bad for your Heart ?

well when it is cold and wet it is probably not in the tropics, but not in the subzero temperatures.
so less UV anyway and no bladder glue melting. best conditions to the kite!

Yes, I am also curious where you (windsuks) have cold AND wet (high humidity) conditions ?

As on the northern hemisphere where it is cold in the winther, it is also extremely dry.

And in the summer, it is never REALLY high humidity like in Asia, so no mildew issues - only if raining you have to be careful.

Our kites last forever, because of no UV and no glue melting here - not even in the summer when warm and sunny...

Many from here, who has travelled to really warm spots, have had their valves delaminate

Valve delam problems probably come more from being locked up in a car during spring summer months when it is hot. Every time some one starts crying about a valve delam here I simply tell them " You live in Texas what do you expect, it's hot as hell"!
