I am considering buying Ozone kites for my school, been told that the kite does not have a nationality, its a world kite... anyone disagrees? Would like to know, as I am being charged in Euros by a Miami based company who represents Ozone... weird...

That is weird!
I don't know the answer.
However the originators of ozone are English I believe. So it makes sence that there's some euro connection.
The design team are based down here in nz... so I guess it is quite a global company.
Nice kites. I various kite schools that use the catalyst and rave about them.

You are dealing with the wrong guys. If you believe you need to deal with somebody in the US I strongly suggest you contact the US distributors.

I work with Lee, give the guy a shout and see what he says.

And yes the Catalyst seems to be the ultimate school kite and so much more.

Thanks for all the answers, if the company is from Europe, I guess its fair enough to pay for the kites in euros. I am just looking for the fair price and someone from Miami was already lecturing me of how much money I could do etc etc....

I think Ozone is a German company with kites made in Vietnam.
it´s definatly not German - i know that!
factory is in vietnam thats true...
However the originators of ozone are English I believe. So it makes sence that there's some euro connection.
some owners are english as far as i know - but england doesn´t use the euro!
we use the catalyst in our kiteschool for 2 years (besides other brands) and the ozone kites are the teachers favorites!

The founders of the company were all from the UK.
The CEO lives in Scotland.
The paraglider designers and testers are in France.
One of the former founders of the company lives in NZ and develops all the kites there.
The factory for everything is in Vietnam.
