No problem Cactus
The vac hose goes through the top sheet from underneath should explain it better.
But I put a rough pic in the gallery anyway "Australia, pjgold123"

Pete,

What type of bit do you use to router out the slot in your rocker table?

How well does it hold a vacuum?

That sounds like a great way to do it.

I use a normal straight cut bit 5mm wide 5mm deep and a length off fly screen door spline rubber for the seal, but you could use 6mm or 1/4" what ever as long as the tube or rubber you use is a tight fit in the slot.
If you don't have a router another way to do it is to get some aluminum channel or fly screen frame, screw it to your table and seal with a bit of silicon.
It seals well I had no problems getting 20hg with a small fridge pump and get more with my new pump.
You can also put some silicon in the slot if you have trouble with the seal, you just have to cut it out after each use.

Cheers
