Ozone is good at keeping their new stuff on the DL so I don't think it is in the US at all right now. We are a dealer and the US distributor doesn't have any. Maybe a sponsored racer got his/her paws on one though.
In general, taking some material out of the tips should make the kite a little faster turning -- in a big kite, changing the direction of the kite is about reducing the mass that needs to be moved. Probably won't hurt the relaunch either.
We have them on order, but like I said, the distributor doesn't even have them yet.
