I second the Blade Fat Lady recommendation. The Fat Lady has an amazing low end but also is fun to fly.

I would also recommend you try an Epic Infinity V2 or wait a little for the V3. For the windrange you give it will work perfectly even nice and powerfull.

I've had the V2 tested by a german magazine tester, his personal lowend was 6/7 knots. (No not with a SUB (^^) ) He made a lot of people very jalouse being the only one riding and having fun.

Now what makes the kite fun is it steers fast and gives you more play in lowwind.

That all being said. A Zephyr or Fat Lady are great too. And maybe worth testing out. the Fluid Air.

I will surprise you by saying that my friend 14Toeside rode at my surf spot 2 days in a row
I got to ride his North DYNO17m2 LTD and his North NUGGET 2013 for hours
What a combo!!!! I am 165lbs /75kg....wind lulls 11kn with gusts at 15kn...avg 13kn

Now i do not consider 13kn LW in any way...but i never went sooooo high + hangtime...never
EZ to pump..5 struts..small LE like a 12 Rebel..it had the no stretch North gold lines...awesome !!

The bar pressure was medium on soft setting...and i could surely hold on up to 17kn EZ

The low end would have to be amazing...especially with that 21"wide x 5ft long Quad Nugget 2013
I would say for sure at my weight i would be powered up ..going upwind...
....and starting to do some nice transition jumps in 8kn

VERY IMPRESSED

Buy my North Dyno 17m for $979, plus shipping from florida. great lightwind kite, goes upwind and has good hang time.

I really like the Core Riot XR2 LW; I spent some times on the 15m and 17m but I have also tried the 19m. If you want a LW kite that will get you going fast but still that is fun to fly it might be a good option.

Flew SUPA's 19 Core two days in a row. Rode it with my surfboard and was impressed with the speed and ease that it turns for a big kite. I could be very content w a 19 Core. Riding Toeside it steers really easy one handed. The power delivery on the down and upstroke are very Smooth. Very easy to self land.

Also, his kite has LOTS of hours on it and I saw no wear on any of the lines pr any discoloring of the Fabric.

If I didn't have the LTD I would be looking to get a Core 19.
