I am in north america and looking for a place to go ride waves for a vacation. never really had the chance to get into some clean wave riding and good wind. give me some suggestions for places that have great wind and waves and what time of year to go.
thanks!

If you are an expert rider, go to Maui, I am sure there are greatest waves in the world.
If you are new to wave-riding, my home spot is very friendly to beginner. Here is a picture of my wave riding last week.
Wind is very good here from Oct. to April, usually 25 -40 knot. It's side-on shore wind, you always get back on shore.
The best month is Oct.- Dec.
If you like to find out more, check my website.

Penghu is famous for its nuclear wind.
Water temperature is 25C from Oct. -Dec. 20C Jan-Mar.
Sometimes lower if very strong cold weather stay for a while.
My daughter started to kitesurf last May, she can ride the same wave with me now.

so you're from texas so I assume that means you don't view south padre island gulf as clean waves.
Nearest places are Barbados winter to early summer and Maui in the Fall - I think spring works there too but I only go in fall.
