RRD k rapida special - weight?

Postby spacemonkey » Fri Mar 08, 2013 11:26 am

People using this board, can you measure the weight of your board (without straps and fins)
Mine is coming in at 6.8kg, which is rather heavy compared to the official listing 6.0kg (maybe this is without the padding?!?).
Would be nice to know...

@Alex
First of all, i you want to go out at 7knots, you are gonna need a big Kite (18m), and you gonna need to master your light wind technique also (one mistake in such conditions and you will drop the kite , also depending on the current at your home spot).
That said...this is the challenge, once mastered you are gonna have a big smile on the face, while other kiters will be stuck on the beach.
If you want I'm selling my k rapida (perfect condition) ,waiting on my new one.
Racing rules, I'm addicted to it...go for it
