Hey, i was just wondering whether what should be the perfect speed for the winds in between Winter and Summer. actually i have been doing my surfboarding, but not very good or experienced with kitesurfing. If only someone could guide me out so that i could try it myself safely.

The scale that really matters was missing; here it is in the last column...

Reading the wind-meter is passe.
Instead look at the size of kites the wind-dummies out there!
To the question "How much wind today?", one should expect a reply like "Size 9 day!"
Bothering to convert to wind-speeds units is time you are not spending on the water

No that doesn't work either. I was riding a 17 and everyone else was riding... 10s. Little tiny people on directionals

Kites are like dresses, sure you might weigh 150 pounds soaking wet and take a size 9, but I will be on an 19. Not saying I'm fat just that I could stand to lose about 50 pounds and your 9 will not fit me.
