Anybody have any knowledge on the effects of oils, fuels, solvents on Spectra?
Oils specifically, synthetic engine oil. But what about that fuel scum at your local polluted launch?

Dyneema/Spectra is UHMWPE.

That type of fiber is very resistant to pretty much everything. It is also used in many implants so its resistant to chemicals and abrasion. You can check for issues with specifc chemicals on the manufacturers website usually.
