It was warm up and registration day for round 2 of the Asian Kiteboard Tour and everyone was arriving at Pak Nam Pran beach in Thailand for the 4th KTA visit to this location that has been the scene of some great events in the past

First day of competition, not quite the wind strength we hoped for but the thermals did the job and gave us 6 course race RB class and 2 TT class races for the day and plenty more to come with better winds on the cards

Leading the pack for the raceboards is Yo Narapichit Pudla from Thailand and Kathrin Borgwardt for Germany - with TT front runners Xiao Cheng of China and Anny Barlow USA

The day started with a light breeze and racing and built to something strong enough to complete most of the freestyle single elimination before the thermal packed up for the day, still raceboards, TT and freestyle all had the chance to get out and do their thing

Wind was late in coming but when it did we packed in a lot of action from raceboard and TT racing including the Weekend Warriors to a solid run in the freestyle single elimination. The wind died during the losers final of the men's heats, to be run on the final day of competition.
