you know you could just as easily use a normal waterproof camera with a suitable mount found at any hi-end camera store, total investment would still be half that of a new i-phone

Looks cool, but I am interested in a waterproof case with a mount.

Sfpete what kind of mount because i know they have bar mounts and suction mounts and a few others made for this case. If your looking for a case with a mount built in i cant help there. This was the only waterproof case i could think of for the ipad

I'd think twice about that if I were you. From what I hear/ read Liquipel is really meant to protect your phone in case it gets wet. It's not meant to allow you to use it while wet, and the phone may even not work for 24 hours after getting wet... I could be wrong though

Yeah your right. Its really only made to protect i. Rain and light wetness or if you dunk your phone and pull it right out. I saw an interview and the guy said it was never meant to be a waterproofing solution just an added precaution. They give you a certificate though and apple backs it(im pretty sure i saw that).

A bit of thread drift, but to mount on a boat. Something like this, but one that is actually available and not so expensive.
