Some of your witnesses estimated it was 5 knots on the beach. I would also say it was 5/6 knots out on the water judging from the sea state.

Check this out..i have a new best friend in NAPLES
He reminds me... of me..not afraid to to take on the Epic puppet master

Debunking the myth is necessary...because KF deserves accurate information

That is now the second video showing the inferiority of the V3
YOO-HOO

I wish i would have been there ...Cabrinha18 LW and Core19 LW kite simply crush the V3 bucket

I just love the water texture form that angle...force 2....close to 3
Typical side shore conditions...no wind on beach...but over the water different story
Definitely KNOT less that than 5 KNUTS...(even though Dimitri claims to have 3 of them)

Both kites were flying on the water at the same time
The LW Cabrinha 18m2 kite stayed UP the whole time...the V3 fell in the water

Proof the the V3 does not stay UP better...... than all the other kites in the world...
...as claimed by the CEO/CFO of Epic

It is so refreshing to SEE a different vantage point :thumb:

We just want to SEE the COMPLETE TRUTH....and that video IS IT :thumb:

It's easier keeping a kite in the air dropping into the water and changing the board direction than actually trying to transition.

I would like to see the Epic Goon Squad explain that video  Cabrina Kite with race board planing at speed. Dimitri plodding along on his SUP and then having it fall in the water. Just goes to show what we knew all along a larger high aspect ratio kite is going to destroy a smaller low aspect ratio kite in very light winds. Epic need to stop claiming the Infinity is an extreme lightwind machine, it is a light to medium wind freestyle kite.

Can't wait to hear the excuse why the V3 did not stay dry :-?

It could go like that....

The TITANIC "SUP" on it's maiden voyage....could not avoid the ICEBERG straight ahead

Since it appears this post will never end, I guess there is no harm in commenting.

Nice demonstration on the Cabrina. It is good to see another brand getting into the conversation. Unfortunately this looks like another missed opportunity to objectively compare the capabilities of the kites and boards. It would have been great to see the Cabrina guy ride his raceboard flying the V3 and Dimitri flying the Cabrina on his SUP. This looked more like a comparison of board performance in light wind than kite performance. Now if both kites had been on the water and one relaunched while the other did not, now that would have been worth seeing. I guess business and brand loyalty will continue to keep us from seeing an "apples to apples" comparison. :-?

On with the endless conjecture with no hope of real comparison. :thumb:

Oops, left out a bunch of "H"s in my little rant. Sorry for misspelling Cabrinha so many times.

Wouldn't the SUP be much quicker to start plaining on rather than the much smaller race board?
