 Post subject: how to put the back straps more thowards the rail?

Hi, i own a Cabrinha race board the problem is that the back straps are to inside and difficults me while going upwind and doesnt have no more inserts, any tips for me to get the straps out in the rail more? Also i really need a chicken strap because i usually ride in windy and chopy conditions any tips

You can try to make the footstrap smaller. You should only be in there with your toes.

If its still to far in, them you will need to have someone put in more inserts.

Well this straps are just one size so i cant make them smaller, in your opinion do they look to in for you? Well i may just take the board to my shaper i gotta get inserts for my chicken strap.

Hi,

The strap positions look fine to me.

I have written that board and it's never been a problem.

Your straps should have multiple holes which will allow you to adjust the size.

If that's not enough, use a soldiering iron and burn new holes.

What is your shoe size?

If there are 2 screws at the moment in each end of the strap, you could use one in the centre instead and that would move the strap out about 1/2". You could use a footstrap anti-twist system to stop the end twisting or you could use two screws and there are parts you could use to clamp the end of the strap with one screw in the centre and the other outside the edge of the strap.
