@ leightong
Calibra is right : I was refering to shorter back lines knot setting for the ''more power setup''.
For the front bridle attachment point, I've been riding the factory setup : I'm pretty sure it's the faster setup because as I said previously, this kite is very fast for a 17m.
Thank you
Calibra for the indications for the Fat Lady front bridle setup because it's not in the user manual. I've been looking the 2013/2012/2011 and nothing.
I'll drop an e-mail to Blade to let them know that riders read these manuals... or sometime maybe
... when they have questions on setups.
If they can't put everyting in the manual, they should at least add info on their web site.

I was refering to the front bridal setting. The front bridal has 2 connection points similar to the trigger - they aren't marked on the kite and there is no fat lady manual to refer to - any ideas? I'm assuming that the second setting (not as it is setup from factory) is similar to the 'advanced wave' setting on the triggers.
I always use the last knot on the rear line pigtails as it tends to oversheet on the 'closer to the kite' knot.
Cheers

Could I fly the FL v2 with a L 2012 wainman carrot bar? any thoughts? I'd love to get the blade bar, but can't afford the blade bar right now.

+1 what Leighton said. I had a 2012 FL and was not impressed with the Low end Static pull in the Ocean. I also have a 14 M Trigger and to me it has better Low end Static pull than the 2012 FL.
The Bar pressure on the FL was Huge.

Hell No!
I think you need to get rid of that Carrot bar right away.
It is no damn good, and because it is no damn good,..
I think that you should sell it to me at a screaming bargain and you will be rid of the cursed thing!!
...because I like the Carrot bar and I want one.

Good review in The Kiteboarder Magazine :
http://www.thekiteboarder.com/2013/04/2 ... te-review/
They have been testing most of the 2013 Lightwind kites :
http://www.thekiteboarder.com/tag/2013-gear/
I like these reviews where the riders test many kites with the same program :
- Ozone Zephyr 17m
- Core Riot KR2 19m
- Slingshot Turbine 17m
- Best TS V2 17m
- Gaastra Jet 17m
- Liquid Force NRG 16m
From these reviews the Fat Lady is in the top performers :
- the faster
- seat deep in the window (Grunty Lady!) but good upwind
- great jumps
- light-medium bar presure
- nice bar
- easy relaunch
Can't wait to get my 2013 probably next week. The only down side that I can see : the 2013 is slower than the 2012... but still faster than all the others. I suspect it's because the Unibar is shorter. I'll try the 2013 with the 2012 bar. I will post my findings on this thread.

Did anybody yet have the chance to ride the 2013 Fat Lady back-to-back with BRM Cloud?
These 2 shapes seem to be the most interesting light wind concept this year. Would be really interested in an objective comparison.
