I just want to post that I am developing a surf kite called "The Smurf". Just to let everyone know. that name is taken now...

It will be the best smurf kite on the market for all dedicated kitesmurfers.

Of course, it will be Smurfy blue.

Local Beach: I travel all over the world.
Favorite Beaches: So many to list....
Style: MY OWN STYLE :-)
Gear: SCREAMER 7/9/12/14 for Free Style. Not to forget the SCREAMER 10 LTD for my one go kite.
SURF 8 & 12 for the waves. RENEGADE 6.5 and 9 for all around kiting. And some times I use my son's JUNIOR PRO 4 when it blows 45+ for the waves.
Just try the EPICKITES and you will see for yourself.

I believe you are better than anybody else to know what the requirements to a Surf Kite are.
IMO I tested Best Cabo, Airush Wave and Cabrinha Drifter and found out the Drifter the one that is better than the other two.
Best Cabo is the second and has the best color! Airush wave seems a do-it-all entry kite like Cabrinha Vector. Also, I believe it is too powerful to be a wave kite.
Again as a wave kite it has to drift, kiteloop with ease to recover power and it shall have restricted wind window. A plus, a stronger structure to colapse under some waves and still in one piece.
Colors? I like black kites, they are easier to repair and stay clean.
Hope being of some help.
Hello AlexandreBorges and thank you for posting some of your ideas concerning the SURF kite plus the colors.
Personally a wave kite needs to be flashy in case you get in trouble while you are out in the waves so people can see you. During Hurricanes or big swells, I always make sure to use the brightest kite out there in case something happens. So the SURF kite will be very bright and flashy.
Pink might be a good way to go :thumb:
Now concerning the kites you mentioned above such as the Cabrinha, Airush, Best....they are very good kites but I want something just for waves. I have tested these kites plus other ones and they are all good kites but again I know I can do better especially with all the help I am getting from you guys. So thank you for all the help.

Is this a joke  first u stated the renegade was the new & improved Kima & was better than any wave kite out there & while your testing kites try the V2 Switch Method I think it will do all the things your looking for in a wave kite except one thing it jumps :jump: & I think the wave rider who designed & R&D the Method to ride waves is more than qualified just like u  the Method does not come with a disclaimer that you have to post about it on the https://www.kiteforum.com/ :thumb:

The V2 has a number of alterations to the V1 which most riders will prefer, if you are interested in wave kiting I would suggest you check it out.
