Yes Shawn, At the moment Tona is focused on creating quality kiteboards which are durable and provide a great ride. The magic is in the shape and construction... we spend a lot of time prototyping boards to make sure they excel at what they were designed for.
I'll let you guys know which kites i'll be riding soon.

That's great news for Tona.
I've heard lots of good things about the Tona Pop.
Your feedback, (and exposure) will certainly help them move into better and better things.
Good fortune to you..and Tona.

Galeltic, yes we will be designing all sorts of different boards in the future. Our board designer Dereck Camacho has been shaping boards for 20+ years now so with his and my experience there will be some more fun toys to be made. You'll definitely feel the difference when you get on a Tona board... there is a lot of design, prototyping and testing that goes into each product.
Toby, I stepped away from Cabrinha, I won't be flying their kites anymore. I actually tried to carry on our relationship because we've been together for so long and so I thought that the right thing for me to do was to carry on flying Cabrinha kites and team up with Tona for boards. Cabrinha wasn't happy with the idea of me branching out and growing something that I believe in, something for the future. So they said they want me 100% or not at all. So I chose to leave.
I'm actually even more happy with the kites I'm flying now tho
