I have 9m2 North Rebel 2013 kite and would like to buy bigger kite for low wind days. Dilemma is what size to buy 12m2 or 13m2 North Rebel. I weight 90 kilos; board is North Jamie 2012, 136cm.
Rebel 9m2 usually starts from 18knots for me. My intention is wind range from 10-12knots up to 20 knots. There is no way I can test them and compare. So if anybody has any experience I would be thankful.

At your weight I would get theb13. I weigh 110ks and I use the 2013 14m Rebel.

13 no doubt, I´m 86 kg and i have rebels 13 and 14, 13 low end is 12/13knots and the14 low end is 10/11 knots considering a135 board, with a wider board or a door you can take 2 knots.
The14 feels like a 15, it has much longer struts , more hang time, it´s very a very powerful kite.
I had last year size 12 but changed for a 13, it was a good decision.
Before you ask me, both kites stay in different spots that´s why I have two sizes so close.

I'm 82kg and have 9 & 12 Rebel's (2011 & 2012 respectively) I think a 4m gap is quite large between kites but at your weight and with a bigger board (I have a 132 x 41) then I'd agree with previous posts, go with the 13.

Hey, I ride almost the same setup. I am 92kgs, 135 Jaime 2011; 13m Rebel does the trick for me at around 12/13 knots. If you really want less take the 14m Rebel, but I found it a little to slow for my liking

Thnx guys! Then it will be 13m2. I was worry little bit about how much 13m2 is slower than 12m2 and what is the difference in low end but I guess 13m2 would be OK.I don' think that gap between 9 and 13 is big in this case beacuse 13 should be fine up to 20konts even 25 and 9m2 is smooth at 20 knots..
