What do you mean by "sliding" ?
I think he means and I could be wrong, is that he is talking about turning the board 90 degrees and then using the small waves/chop/flattest water as a slider.. I do this often and have fun with it but I haven't seen anyone else do it

does Andy Yates also ride surf boards ?
I would like to see an explanation about tail shapes. Seems they work a bit differently with kites because of the edge and the different forces vectors.

This video is laughable, and information sparse. Almost as bad as his boots vs straps video.

He should stick to doing tech videos on hair styling or something he actually knows something about instead.
