I have flown the fuse in every year it was made from 2010 on, I loved last years kite it was brilliant for me best fuse so far, I bet 2013 is amazing! And I got a 16 to play with since it is a new size!

Another snowkite team rider James has been on his 16
fuse I asked him to come share his experience on the forum.

... hey Billy,

Can't wait for your findings. I've read a review that the bigger Fuse suffers a bit of stalling when bar pulled in. Can you check that bit out? Also, is it possible to really plant the back foot down and load the kite up as much as possible to see if the leading edge folds or distorts?

cheers for now,

Robbie :D

Hi Billy and Robbie,

Thanks for your comments.

Germany's DHL is on strike and I hope the kite will arrive on time before my departure in a few days.

Yeah, Rammstein is AWESOME!!! Lisboa was on fire two nights ago! I'm just planning my next Rammstein visit (this time with my babe).

Cheers

I have been snowkiting and flown Fuse 16m2 at different winds between 6-14 knots with the factory setup and 5th line bar. I did not find it to back stall. Atleast not any more than any other kite in a low wind. I was more amazed how stable it was even in lightes breeze.

... when it did back stall, did the steering get really heavy or heavier than normal? :)

Steering did not get any heavier. Only a bit slower as there was not really any wind. The only times it was back stalling the wind was down to something like 3-4knots. I was out there with a couple of foils (Flysurfer Speed3 15 dlx and Spleene X-19) and also they had problems to keep the kites up.

When the wind picked up to 5-6 knots there were no issues at all.

Hi Tony,

I'm back home, unpacked and kited the 12m 2013 Fuse today for the first time.
I'm very happy with the performance. The bar pressure is pretty light compare to all other kites I owned.
This kite has the longest hangtime of any kites I kited so far!
The wind speed was an average of 18 knots. I set it up to the first knot of the outside lines (most powered) and kited completely powered up. I'm 68Kg and I'm sure I can kite the 12m Fuse until at least 28 knots or so without having any problems.
My friend has a 11m 2013 Rebel and we exchanged kites during today's session. I like the Fuse more, it jumps a fair bit higher and has longer hangtime. The depower is much better too.

North said there are no problems with drilling the 2 holes into the bar to install the micro loop. But I can't see how this can be done with this narrow plastic insert. Has anyone done it and could post a photo?
Thank you.

Cheers
