Nice work JR! Can't beat accomplishment of a years long goal. Looks like a true kite adventure. Sometimes the snow and wind aren't ideal, but those survival days can make for some great memories. So long as you make it back alive to tell the tale-

Thanks guys. It was a big adventure for me. Matt I know what you mean about coming back alive. I wish I could have done a better job with it. When I hit the frozen surface things went bad. I was able to recover but the possibility of being drug into the rocks was real. Gotta keep at it and get more skills. And Robertovillate, I was able to get one sesh in Michigan this season. I got to ride on the ice at the very northern tip of Lake Michigan called Bay de Noc on the south shore of the UP. I was truckin' across Rt 2 lookin' for a spot and found this. It was fun to go back and forth over the pressure ridge that formed and drifted over. Zeb, I should have tracked you down. My schedule had me movin' and I only had one day to get it and the conditions were saying go. I hope I can catch another window. I would luv to join you on your turf! JR
