What do you mean by "sliding" ?
I think he means and I could be wrong, is that he is talking about turning the board 90 degrees and then using the small waves/chop/flattest water as a slider.. I do this often and have fun with it but I haven't seen anyone else do it
Thanks !
I need to try it out.

tautologies wrote:uncle sammy wrote:This is the second "tech video" by Andy in the past few month. First one I think was about boots and straps. Are we looking at a series of short "tech videos" ?
I would like the next one to talk about rocker/concave/stiffness.
I hope so. This stuff is what I like to see from the pros...provide some information!!!
Totally agree. And it Would be nice if Andy will elaborate a little more next time.

does Andy Yates also ride surf boards ?
I would like to see an explanation about tail shapes. Seems they work a bit differently with kites because of the edge and the different forces vectors.

This video is laughable, and information sparse. Almost as bad as his boots vs straps video.
He should stick to doing tech videos on hair styling or something he actually knows something about instead.
