What do you do with super old kites

Postby Mikites » Thu Apr 25, 2013 3:22 pm

I don't usually horde, but I have the first few kites I ever had still. 01 slingshot fuels... I was going to just chuck them in the trash, but it seams that there must be a better use for them. Any ideas?

Personally, I do alot of wavekiting so occasionally my kite will get destroyed by the waves. I keep all my old kites to use the old canvas as repair material. Its always a good idea to have spare parts lying around.

I took an exploded Xbow to a friend who makes backpacks. He used the canopy to build me a custom backcountry snowkite pack according to my specs. http://www.valentichbags.com/
