Convert Mutiny bar to single front line safety

Hi,

I have a first generation Mutiny bar that flags on both front lines. I want to use it with a Slingshot RPM and Airush Varial X which require single front line safety.
Has anyone converted their first generation Mutiny bar to flag on one line only? Any pointers?

You can see here I am in the process of modding a Mutiny swivel but having done that, what I would suggest instead is to look at replacing the Mutiny swivel using the Naish Universal swivel which is already designed to do the job.

I will be using a Slingshot Bungee cord which is 58cm unstretched and getting a loop/loop 500kg dynema line made to go from the bungee to the ring at the chickenloop. The line should be long enough so at full power on the trim setting, the bungee is not quite fully stretched. I measure the bungee as being 80cm long at that point.

I should have said that I am modding the Mutiny Swivel to use with a Switch bar.
