Naish Monarch,Dub,Motion any real reviews?

Postby Ludmil » Sun Apr 21, 2013 11:54 am

Hi Guys,

Does anyone ridden these?
Is the Monarch that stiff or just stiffer than the other TTs in Naish`s line?
How does it perform in choppy conditions?

Motion on the other hand has the size I`ve had always looking for - 138x41,5...
How they compare in case I intend to ride in some ocasions boots but mainly straps /Dub probably/?
Asking because saw Matt Nuzzo`s review and he states that Monarch has "decent amount of rocker" and could be ridden w/ boots... but 132 looks so short to me ?!
I`m 77 kg.

Any input?

L.

I'm in the same boats as you. Last time I checked the boards has not arrived here yet...

I am mainly looking at the dub or monarch. I doubt the monarch is that stiff though...considering how the previous boards also were made for Langeree?

I'm also looking at riding occasionally using boots...

No problem my 88kg - 134/42 Naish Monarch :) unreal board !!! not stiff, very fast & very nice upwind ! Wind 5-10m/s with Naish Torch 2013 12m.

THIS IS MY FIRST TEST DAY (FIRST 17 MINUTES) WITH 2013 NAISH MONARCH BOARD, I made video clip from first 17min. (because GoProHero mont crash, I attach 17min. back:))) I could not record...

for you 77kg - 130 or 132cm is ok with boots only you kiteboarding & wake technique limits fantasy

Paff, I`m going to order it tomorrow...
I`ll have it after 2 weeks.

Arturas thank you for sharing!
The 130 is quite small for me though.
Maybe I`ll go for 132 but most probably for 134 but still difficult to assess, esp taking into consideration that I`m going to place a blind order.
I have134 x42 NHP 2012 atm and it feels OK for the light conditions here /I have Torch 12 2013 as well/ but I wonder how Monarch should be in comparison.
How does 134 feels?
Is it light? Do you find it big because the outline and the wide tips?
